  bookworm     often picking up shifts at his sister's library for the purpose of making connections, it would also be hard to say that alex didn't like a good tale or two. he likes to hear about new books to read and personal stories as well.

  heir     fellow sharlayans and those familiar with the forum may have heard of the legacy of the astraea family ─ their family had been elected to the forum generation after generation for as long as anyone could remember. as an only child, many people expect him to follow in his family's traditions... but he's seen him spending more time in eorzea than in sharlayan.

  librarian     hikaru helps offload some of the work for the library director at the crystalline library. he's much happier in the office, but will come work the desk when needed.

  adventurer     hikaru is a registered adventurer with the gridanian adventurer guild and a member of a free company in empyreum. he'll take up practically any basic adventure work you throw at him-- culling beasts, fetching items, delivering parcels-- you name it. and if you'd rather work together, he'll take you up on an adventure if you ask.

  telepath     a carefully used power, hikaru can read minds and use technopathy to communicate with magitek as well. while this power isn't used often, it can still be useful addition to his repertoire of magic.
